Why sell fireworks?

Selling fireworks lets you or your organization put your money raising effort to best use. Instead of five to ten annual projects or a full time summer job, Red Hot Fireworks can maximize your earnings by selling fireworks once a year.

Are fireworks legal in my state?

Yes, in most states. By statute, most states have authorized the sale and/or use of fireworks that are classified as “Safe & Sane” or “Sparklers & Novelty”. However, local ordinances may prohibit the sale and/or use of firework devices. Red Hot researches all local ordinances and works with local officials to ensure all locations meet or exceed all requirements necessary to operate a particular location.

How will I know what is needed to operate effectively?

Red Hot Fireworks will provide you or your group with an extensive training orientation and support program to help you run your location effectively! Red Hot ® provides the location, facility (tent), all permits and licenses, and carefully selects merchandise based on our experience in your area. Additionally, we are here 24 hours a day to provide assistance during the selling period.

How much can I make?

Profits are determined by volume. While we cannot guarantee a specific amount that you will make, our lowest volume locations should earn a minimum gross profit of $ 2,000. Medium to large volume locations will earn you considerably more than that amount.

How much time is involved?

The average sales season lasts from 7 - 10 days. Your group will need to provide staffing to cover business hours and in some locations, security at night.

Where will we sell?

Location, Location, Location! Conducting your business at a location that has lots of visibility and traffic is key to your success. We work with retailers and property owners to secure the best spot available. Let us know if you know of an available location!
